Sugar Daddy Pops

Sugar Daddy large pops. These Sugar Daddy pops are the large ones, each sucker is 1.7 oz. A delicious caramel bar on a stick for easy eating. These nostalgic pops were first introduced in the early 1900's making them a favorite candy from the 50's. Each sugar daddy pop has a long lasting flavor and a chewy texture they are wrapped in a non-stick wax paper wrapper for hours of fun.

When first introduced by Robert Welsh these caramel treats were called "Papa Sucker", however the name was changed in 1932 to Sugar Daddy. The new name for this pop suggested this candy would give you a wealth of sweetness.

Robert Welsh sold his candy line to the Warner-lamber company in the 70's, however sugar daddies disappeared off the marked for a while. Tootsie Roll Industries,Inc then purchased the sugar daddies in 1993 and brought back these nostalgic candies.

Sugar daddy suckers are available not only in the larger size, but also in a sugar daddy mini for those of you that don't want to take all day eating your pop. Another nostalgic caramel favorite candy are the Sugar Babies, the same great caramel candy but in bite size drops.

Each box of Sugar Daddy Pops has 24 caramel suckers per box.
